Thank You !!
Awaiting for reply.
Dear Varun - please see this website for configuring FCIP: http://silverstorage.blogspot.com/2011/06/how-to-configure-fcip-tunnel-between.html. For HUR, please see the documentation at https://support.hds.com/download/epcra/rd80232.pdf.
These are the migration options available:
What are your migration requirements? What kind of hosts and applications are involved?
First of all thanks for your reply. Now We have brocade 7840 switches and going to setup FCIP (For HUR process) and start replication G1000 t0 G1000 and Vsp to G1000from X (Prod)center to Y(RD) center. Coming to Migration not yet got exact requirements. But thanks for letting me know that information which will be helpful for me. Now If you have one I'm requesting you to send step by step document on Brocade 7840 FCIP configiuration and following procedure for replication.
Thanks In Advance !!
Thank you very much for this information.
Hope doing Great !!
I have added Brocade 4x7840's to the Hi-Track. Everything is good except one thing which is- under the MODEL column it is showing as "unknown" where it suppose to show up as 7840. Would you please help me out in this.
I heard two reasons for this:
1- Hi- Track should pull the data from that switch so that then it recognize and displays the switch model. If yes how can I pull the data?
2- Hitachi database might not have this switch model to display the model? Is this true? I don't Because I believe every new release Brocade or any other vendor released switches will be added to our list.
Thank you very much in Advance.
I found plenty of Brocade 7840 switches on Hi-Track so it is a supported model. Probably best to open a case with HDS Support so they can look at your switches to see if something is misconfigured.
Thanks for your reply. I have opened a case.
