HCP Anywhere datamobility with Windows Fileserver

Question asked by Jeffrey Strik on Aug 10, 2015

i'm evaluating the HCP-Anywhere solution and it's up and running now with the latest versions of HCP and HCP Anywhere software.

I'm interested in testing the Data Mobility feature, which should be able to present existing fileshares to clients. In my case, the fileshare is active on a Windows 2012 R2 server and has all permissions for domain admins setup correctly.

However, when i add the NAS server ( a windows server in this case), manually add the share and finally test the share for connectivity it gives me an access denied error no matter what permissions i have or whatever account i try to use.

The webinterface gives me the following error when hitting the "Test" button:

jcifs.smb.SmbAuthException: Access is denied.

The folder is being displayed in the app and web portal, though the same error is given in the (for example) iOS app when opened.

Is this a known bug maybe?
