I am getting no rules found for enterprise ID:.220.127.116.11.4.1.1518.104.22.168.1.62 for brocade DCX switch. I have downloaded the MIBs.
This is I am trying to monitor the switch tivoli software.
Please suggest .
Could you add a .0 after the OID
I just checked some forums and this seems to be the suggestion.
Thanks alott for your response but do you have any reference document for this?
Is there any change in alerts for OID by adding .0 to the main OID.
Thanks & Regards
I think I was on the wrong track.
And I'm not expert in SNMP anymore. But I read some posts where the error is similar to what you have. My guess is that since these brocade traps are not generic, Tivoli does not know what to do when it receives them. To eliminate these errors you need to create rules for all the TRAP OID's which do not have actions listed already.
Here is some documentation on sample rules
