I'm currently running Hicommand 7.6.1, withe Device Manager, Replication Manager, Tuning Manager, Tiered Storage Manger on a Redhat 5.5 Linux server, command director 7.6 on a Windows 2003 server.

For reasons I won't go in to I'll be doing a fresh install on different servers. I'm thinking about version 8.x the x to be resolved as I do more research. I see Suse Linux is now an option, Command Director still on windows I guess.

As our Environment is mostly Suse on the Linux side I was just curious if this is solid platform? Or , should I stick to Redhat?

I think I can import the old database(s) to either. Any feedback would be welcome.
