Looking for information on how the PRs are managed in VSP. I understand that PR keys are stored in a table in the storage array...any way I can view the table ?
You can read the SCSI3 device tables from any attached OS. Just issue the ioctls to the OS disk device.
For example, in Linux:
install sg3-utils package
Use sg_persist command to list or release reservations
At Solaris Cluster, you can use:
/usr/cluster/lib/sc/scsi -c inkeys -d /dev/did/rdsk/d<XX>s2
You can get the same from SN. Browse through the respective Host group you have to see the PR information --> LDEV information --> in the bottom of the page there will be an option to look for the LDEV's with PR's.
Hi Frank Yie, has your question been answered? Thanks.
