Hi all,

I am gathering some technical information around Cache Partition Manager (CPM) on AMS2000 family and how to match it end to end with known applications. (End2End: app>OS>LVM>HBA>fabrics>AMS cache...)

I am stuck on some HDS recommendations to set the cache segment to twice the Host I/O block size.
example: if Host I/O is 4KB, then HDS recommends to set the cache segment size at 8KB.

Would anyone be able to share some light on the reasoning? Or even better, some real life benchmarks?

merci beaucoup!
