HUR I/O transfer size - torn writes

I have a customer that is asking what the HUR I/O transfer size is and if it can be adjusted.  I have not found this in the HUR documentation, however I do believe the HUR I/O transfer size is not tunable.  They are concerned with torn writes or partially committed writes on the remote array which would go undetected unless the Database performed a checksum on the pertinent blocks on the remote array.

I have unofficially heard that the HUR I/O transfer size matches the host I/O transfer size so it is variable in that regard.  Can anyone point me to a document that states this?
