Windows batch script for a pairdisplay check

I am working on a batch script that will check our device pairs and their status using the pairdisplay.exe command. The one major problem I run into is making sure the horcm is started on each pair management server that we have. I can start the local horcm without any issue but the remote horcm becomes a problem since it doesn't seem to stay running for the duration of the script.

Has anyone tried something similar or is there a way to have the horcm always running?

I've been looking into using winrs.exe to do something like this "winrs.exe -r:server.local c:\horcm\etc\horcmstart 1". I haven't tried PsExec but I figured the result would be the same.

Thanks for any help,
