Connect 2015: Photos and Recaps

You might have seen a few posts related to "Connect 2015" over the past week, and wondered what this event was all about! Connect 2015, which took place April 27 - 29 in Las Vegas, was an inaugural event for Hitachi Data Systems and was limited primarily to employees of HDS and over 40 Hitachi companies. Luckily we had several HDS Community members on site taking photos of our Solutions Showcase and capturing the experience to share with you. Jeff Lundberg posted 3 blogs over the past week highlighting some key events at the conference, and Sara Gardner posted shared her experience here.

Head over to the HDS Facebook page for more photos and catch up on key insights from the event on the #HDSConnect Twitter hashtag.

Join the New Social Innovation Community!

One of the most significant aspects of Connect 2015 was the Solutions Showcase, where we unveiled our Social Innovation solutions that leverage Big Data and the Internet of Things to address some of the world's biggest challenges. To support our Social Innovation initiative, we recently launched the Social Innovation space on HDS Community where you can learn about our industry solutions for Telecom, Healthcare, Public Safety, and more. Read our recent blogs and and tell us what Social Innovation means to you.

Software-Defined Infrastructure

Another major announcement last week featured our delivery of software-defined infrastructures that enable customers to simplify IT and free data from traditional hardware and location constraints, making it more accessible for all existing and new analytics-driven workloads. These new and enhanced offerings have been designed to help customers achieve greater levels of information access through virtualized, hyper-converged and scale-out platforms that are built to accelerate the journey to IT as a service (ITaaS) through application-led, software-defined architectures. You can learn more on the News and Events space and access all software-defined infrastructure content here. Huge thanks to our bloggers for sharing valuable insights into these new offerings from HDS!

New Solution & Product Forum: SAP

In case you missed the news, we recently launched a dedicated community for SAP and HDS solutions within our Solution and Product Forums. You'll find a wealth of resources here including the recent Forrester Total Economic Impact™ report and infographic on the Hitachi Unified Compute Platform for SAP HANA®. Participate in a discussion or post a blog to earn the SAP Discussion and SAP Blogger badges! And if you attended SAP SAPPHIRE NOW, you can request a special SAPPHIRE NOW Attendee 2015 badge by contacting me via direct message or emailing HDSCommunity@hds.com.
